This year’s annual thank you event for board of directors, life trustees and standing committees also featured an address by outgoing Board Chairman, William A. Meyer. Mr. Meyer highlighted the recent season as one of the Center’s best, noting that the Kravis Center is among the most active performing arts centers in the world, according to Pollstar, the only trade publication covering the worldwide concert industry. “In 2012, the Kravis Center ranked 11th in the world, only behind such theaters as Radio City Music Hall, Auditorio Nacional de Mexico, the Colosseum at Caesars Palace and Fox Theatre in Atlanta, all much larger than Dreyfoos Hall.,” said Mr. Meyer. “The Kravis Center is healthy. In fact, it is thriving and all of you should be very proud.”
